Who we are
Excell Holistics is the work of Nyoka Nicole Samuels, MSN, RN, IHC. This privacy policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect
We only collect what you give us, and only when you choose to give it.
When you sign up for wellness notes (newsletter) — your email address.
When you take the Holistic Wellness Check (quiz) — your first name, your email address, and your responses to the quiz questions.
When you reserve a seat at a free event — you'll be sent to our event partner (Luma) to RSVP. Luma collects your name and email directly. We don't store that information on this website.
When you book a discovery call or 1:1 coaching session — you'll be sent to Calendly to choose a time. Calendly collects your name, email, and any pre-meeting answers you provide.
When you purchase the book — you'll be sent to Stripe, our payment processor, to complete the purchase. Stripe handles your payment information directly. We don't see, store, or have access to your credit card or banking details.
When you complete the Holistic Health Intake Form — you'll fill out an intake form with questions about your health, wellness, lifestyle, and goals. You choose what to share. Your submission is delivered to Nyoka through Formspree (our form-relay service), and your name and email are added to our coaching-applicants list in MailerLite so we can send you a confirmation. Nyoka uses what you share to support you in coaching sessions; we don't share it beyond the service providers listed below.
When you contact Nyoka — whatever you choose to share in your message (typically your name, email, and what you're writing about).
We don't use cookies for tracking. We don't run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising tools. We don't build profiles on you for advertising.
How we use your information
We use your information for the specific reasons you gave it to us:
- To send you the wellness notes you signed up for.
- To send you your wellness profile after you complete the quiz.
- To invite you to upcoming free events, masterclasses, and offerings.
- To schedule and facilitate discovery calls and 1:1 coaching sessions.
- To support you in coaching sessions, using what you share in the intake form.
- To respond to your messages.
- To process orders for the book.
That's it. We don't use your information for anything you didn't sign up for.
What we will never do
We will never sell your email or any of your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. Your email is your email.
We will never share your information with third parties for their marketing. The only third parties who handle your data are the service providers listed below, and they do so strictly to help us deliver the things you signed up for.
We will never make it hard for you to unsubscribe. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and we honor it immediately.
Who else handles your information
To run Excell Holistics, we use a small number of trusted service providers. Each one only sees the information needed for their role:
- MailerLite — sends our emails. They store the names and email addresses of subscribers. MailerLite's privacy policy.
- Stripe — processes book purchases. They handle payment information directly. Stripe's privacy policy.
- Luma — handles RSVPs for free events. They collect names and emails when you sign up for an event. Luma's privacy policy.
- Calendly — schedules discovery calls and 1:1 coaching sessions. They collect names, emails, and any pre-meeting answers you provide when booking. Calendly's privacy policy.
- Formspree — relays coaching application submissions to Nyoka's inbox. They process the information you provide in the application form (name, email, phone, pronouns, and the responses you share) and deliver it to Nyoka. Formspree's privacy policy.
- GoDaddy — hosts this website. They don't have access to your data; they just host the files.
If any of these providers change, we'll update this policy.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information as long as you're subscribed to our emails or actively engaging with Excell Holistics. If you unsubscribe or ask to be removed, we'll delete your information from our active systems within 30 days.
Some information may persist longer in backups or be retained where required by law (for example, financial records related to book purchases). In those cases, your information stays protected by the same standards described in this policy.
Your choices and rights
You have full control over your information.
- Unsubscribe — every email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also email Nyoka directly and ask to be removed.
- Access — you can ask what information we have about you, and we'll send you a copy.
- Correction — if any information we have about you is wrong, you can ask us to fix it.
- Deletion — you can ask us to delete your information at any time. We'll do it.
To exercise any of these, email nyoka@nyokanicolesamuels.com. We aim to respond within 7 days.
If you're in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under your local laws (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA). The rights above cover the substantive ones — access, correction, deletion, and opt-out — and we honor them regardless of where you live.
Children
This website and its content are written for adult healthcare professionals. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, please email Nyoka and we'll delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. The site is served over HTTPS, our service providers (MailerLite, Stripe, Luma, Calendly) use industry-standard security practices, and we limit access to your information to what's necessary to run Excell Holistics.
No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of any data transmitted over the internet. If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we'll notify you promptly.
A note on what this site is and isn't
Excell Holistics offers wellness coaching, not medical care. The information shared on this site, in emails, in the quiz, and in coaching sessions is for educational and supportive purposes — it is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider for any medical concerns.
Because this is coaching and not medical care, your information here is not "protected health information" (PHI) under HIPAA. We treat your data with care regardless, but we want to be clear about what this site is.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to how we handle your information, we'll update this policy and let active subscribers know by email.
